Animal Guidelines

Service animals are welcome on TheBoat. No permit is required, but you may be asked to confirm that your animal is a service animal.

Small animals are welcome on board; provided that they are in a cage or carrier that can be placed under the seat or on the passenger’s lap without inconvenience to other passengers.

You are responsible for the care and supervision of your animal while on board. If you are planning on riding TheBoat with an animal, please follow these guidelines:

• Your animal must be on a leash or in a container, remain under your control and behave appropriately.
• The animal must remain at your feet or on your lap. The animal may not sit on a vessel seat.
• Birds, reptiles, amphibians and rodents must be kept in an enclosed carrier/container.
• The animal must not be aggressive toward people or other animals.
• You are responsible for any damage or soiling caused by the animal.
